Our
artworks explore the relationship of people to the environment, evoking
the argument that nurturing people and nurturing the earth are the
same, or parallel processes, they also bear messages of inter-racial and
inter-generational respect and the importance of family. Our themes
also advocates living in social harmony and protecting the environment.
With
this vision of making an impact through art we are creating exhibitions
avoiding tabloids and sensational imagery. Artists are invited to
create new representations through their artworks and, in doing so, help
us feel and understand the essence of the problem of violence, poverty
and prostitution.
The goal of these exhibitions is to help create an awareness and
conversation on the issues that surround this important topic exploring
various definitions of violence against women, men and children as it
relates to the themes of: Poverty, Prostitution and violence in our
society.
With
the coming together of themes from the visual arts we want to let the
public know that we as artists are increasingly seeing ourselves as
having a role not only in raising awareness of social and environmental
issues, but actively promoting solutions.
